another proof of life

i really like this pic!
sorry this is a bit mixed up... you've gotta read the text at the bottom first... this is "the crew" of the rainbow temple who went up the top of Mt. Warning.
this pic doesn't actually belong here either :) it is at the beach of stradbroke island close to brisbane...

Hey Mates!
Alright I gotta admit: I'm a real Ozzie finally :)
So I might actually stick to English and hope to bother you with that...

Here is the latest news: I left Melbourne finally, a friend from highschool who just finished his oral exams in Psychology came down for a road trip and yes, we did the East coast, including all these clichee places like Surfers Paradise etc. We went up till Brisbane where he left back to Germany. After that I got stuck with a few hippies in the Rainbow Temple, experiencing the vibration of the late 60s :) We did quite a lot of farm work together, music, and all that kind of stuff. They were actually really motivated and we did heaps of fancy things like getting up at 2.30 in the morning to drive to Mt Warning to view the amazing sunrise on a 2200m height. It is the place where -in winter- the first sunray hits Australia Mainland! Very special moments!
Somehow or other, I felt happy with farm life and went straight to the next organic farm which has a temple as well. I plow the fields, milk the cows, filling potholes and basically be the "handy man" for everything... The people live a good and happy life and they are just too welcoming and friendly to me. There is also a school attached to that big farm community (which counts approximately 80 inhabitants) with about 20 kids. At the moment I work with them on a little musical/ song thing which is to be performed next sunday on a festival! It's great fun, the kids are doing so well and I feel really appreciated while doing what is my propensity anyways!
I'd love to put some pictures up of that as well but I forgot to bring the cable for my camera so I can't load them on my laptop right now :( Anyways, I try to do it some time later during this week...

So long! All the best to you!

This is the Rainbow Temple, very hippiesh kind of place...
...and that is what people in a hippiesh kind of place do :D

...but also ready to make a sacrifice and actually getting up at 2.3o a.m. to have that stunning view:
wow, looks like from an airplane... anyways, back to the community:
